Affirmation #4
Now is the time to come home to your self.
Energy
If you had to think about how much energy you have every
day and had to pick a number between 1 and 10 (10 being great
gobs of energy and 1 being tired all the time) what would that
number be?
It has been my experience the practice of Yoga is brilliant as it
builds energy within the body. I am talking about the time honored
tradition of Yoga not our western version of Yoga. They are two
very different practices.
Osho says
‘Technique, expertise and knowledge are just tools; the key
is to abandon ones self to the energy that fuels the birth
of all things. This energy has no form or structure, yet all the
forms and structures come out of it.’
Zen saying
Zen says “Think of all the great words and great
teachings as your deadly enemy. Avoid them,
because you have to find your own source”.
Where do you find your own source? Meditation.
I Love You Chant
Sit comfortably and relax.
Place both hands on the knees palms facing
downward and take a few deep breaths in and
out. Notice how you are feeling.
Place your left hand on your chest and say out
loud or mentally “I love you chest”. Place your
left hand on your eyes and say “I love you eyes”,
place your left hand on your head and say “I love
you head”. Place your left hand on your navel and
say I love you, place left hand back on knee and say
“I love you”. Practice this sequence a few times.
Now close the eyes and say these words while touching
each part of the body as noted above and repeat
several times. Notice how you feel after the chant.
